
Dr Barry Flintoft is a psychosexual therapist working with both private and NHS-funded clients. In addition, he works with people who have committed, or are at risk of committing, sexual offences. He is an accredited member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapy) and STOPSO (Stop Sexual Offending).
Dr Flintoft trained as a social worker and worked in mental health services for over thirty years. He completed doctoral research into employment and mental health. Dr Flintoft has conducted many statutory investigations following deaths by suicide, attended coroners court, assessed people under the Mental Health Act, and worked as the regional lead for suicide prevention for NHS England.
