Dr Paris Lalousis

Dr Paris Lalousisis a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London, based in the Department of Psychosis Studies. 

He trained in psychology and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Wales and the University of Birmingham and completed a jointly funded PhD between Birmingham and the University of Melbourne.

Paris leads the Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health Lab, developing advanced machine learning approaches to understand better and treat mental illness. His work integrates clinical, neurobiological and genomic data to address complexity and heterogeneity across diagnoses. His research spans psychosis, depression, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease, with a strong focus on translating data science into meaningful clinical practice.
