Laurie Mintz

Dr Laurie Mintz is a Psychology Professor at the University of Florida. Currently, at the University of Florida, she teaches Counseling Psychology Practicum (graduate) and the Psychology of Human Sexuality (undergraduate).

She has been practicing as a licensed psychologist for over 30 years, working with both individuals and couples, and the types of issues and concerns she sees include relationships issues, grief and loss, family-of-origin issues, depression, anxiety and stress management, recovering from childhood abuse and stage of life issues.

She is also a certified sex therapist and thus has a great deal of experience working with individuals and couples on sexual issues.

Dr Mintz is author of two books, Becoming Cliterate – Why Orgasm Equality Matters — And How To Get It and A Tired Woman’s Guide to Passionate Sex.
