Good history taking provides the foundations for how therapists work. However, many practitioners don’t necessarily or regularly stop to consider what the elements of those foundations need to be.
This training explores the best ways of gaining the information used in note taking; how Psychosexual and Relationship Therapists can best use that time with Service Users both face-to-face and online and how to incorporate history taking into assessment.
This training can be of particular interest to those moving into private practice or into placements. Experienced therapists benefit from the class providing prompts and good practice to help develop their work and outcomes.
