Group Supervision

£15.00

This self-access class examines some of the benefits and challenges of the group experience with emphasis on the Group Supervisors role.

CPD Hours: 1

Working as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist can by its nature be quite intense and Service User focused. As an advocate of Group Supervision, I find the opportunity to share our experiences with others in a similar circumstances can be both a supportive and restorative experience. The extra isolation imposed by the recent lockdown has emphasised this for many practitioners and indeed increased the number of practitioners both seeking or joining a group.

In this session we:

  • Explore some of the benefits and challenges of the group experience with emphasis on the Group Supervisors role.
  • Look at how the group experience has developed with the advent of online groups.
  • Consider the Peer group situation and how this differs. Including how ethics, roles and responsibilities may be achieved.

This is a recording of the online seminar in November 2022.
